Kinder Ballet

  • 30 minute classes for 3 – 5 year olds.

  • For the Kinder child who wants to start exploring dance.  Not too structured at this stage, but designed for the children to have fun whilst starting to learn some of the basic ballet positions and steps

  • This class is offered on a Friday before school pick-up and Saturday morning 

Pre-Primary

  • 45 minute class for children in prep or grade 1.

  • This is a large entry level for children to our ballet school.

  • A more structured approach taken here with an introduction to Syllabus’ work.

  • These classes are after school and only available to school age children

Primary 

  • Can also be an ‘entrance’ year into our ballet school. The introduction to 2 classes each week begins here.

  • Generally for children in prep – grade 2. A wonderful year of ballet with children making big progress due to the extra class.

  • Exams can begin here, not compulsory.

Preparatory Level 1

  • Generally for children with prior ballet training and who are in grade 1 or grade 2 at school.

  • 2 classes each week with children doing a ballet exam mid year.

Others

Level 1

  • 2 hours each week ( over 2 days ) consisting of ballet and stretching.

  • Generally in grade 2 or 3 at school.

  • Mid year ballet exam.

Level 2

  • 2.5 hours each week ( over 2 days)

  • Consisting of ballet and stretching.

  • Generally in grade 3 or 4 at school.

  • Ballet exam in term 3.

Level 3

  • Is divided into 2 year levels: level 3 1st year requires 3 hours per week ( over 2 days ) consisting of ballet and stretching, Level 3 2nd year requires 4.5 hours per week (over 3 days) consisting of ballet, stretching and beginning pointe work (if ready).

  • Generally in grade 4-6 at school.

Level 4

  • 7 hours per week ( over 4 days ).

  • Including ballet, stretching contemporary and pointe work.

Level 5

  • 8 hours per week ( over 4 days ).

  • Including ballet, stretching, contemporary and pointe work.

Senior

  • 10 hours per week ( over 4 days ).

  • Including ballet, stretching,contemporary and pointe work.
